Here at Little Gem's Pre-School we welcome children aged 2, 3 and 4.
We are open term time *8am - 5pm and have different sessions available upon request.
We accept 2, 3 and 4-year-old funding including 30 hours funding.
* funded sessions 8:30am - 3:00pm

We offer many opportunities daily for every child to gain confidence, independence and build positive relationships with both staff and peers. We work closely with the wider community to ensure every child is ready to take on their next steps in their transition.

We have 8 dedicated members of staff who regularly complete training to develop knowledge and skills. All members of staff have completed safeguarding training and ensure this is put into practice. Each member of staff holds a current and up-to-date DBS and at least half of our staff are qualified first aiders.

We portray a calm and vibrant provision to ensure all children feel safe and secure at all times. At Little Gem's we have two spacious interconnecting rooms and an enhanced outside area.
When new children join our setting we evaluate the cohort and adapt our routine/practice to meet their interests and needs. All staff members have been involved in creating a new curriculum to support the learning and development of each individual. We work in partnership with parents to gain an understanding of their home interests and build on what they already know and can do. Children freely explore opportunities and experiences during their time at pre-school. We work alongside many professionals to promote inclusion and individuality. Some of these include: Health Visitor, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Community Paediatrician, Inclusion Partner and school SENCO's.
